the answer you have all been waiting for...
In Colorado, there are lots of mountains over 14,000 feet, affectionately called 14'ers. Because going up and down 1 14'er in a day is just boring for some Coloradans, they want to go up and down 2. Well, the only way you can make it up and down two 2 14'ers is if you run the mountains. You can't make it in a car due to the traffic going up and down the mountains. Therefore, some Coloradans will run up and down 2 14,000 foot mountains in one day, hence the term running 2 14'ers. So much for us feeling that we have gotten in our exercise this trip...
I think my Apple Watch might blow up with that kind of athletic endeavor. 😀
ReplyDeleteOh yea 14'er, that was on the tip of my tongue. Right after thinking it meant the UTV that is going to take me up and down this mountain takes 14 gallons of gas when you weigh as much as I do. And sister, plainly Colorado is more geared toward the 42mm model.
ReplyDeleteAnd the good news is, Robert and I are going to wait to do that until we come back next time :)
